Copyright and takedown requests
TeraSaver hosts no files. When you paste a share link, we read the file list that TeraBox already exposes publicly, then hand your browser the address of TeraBox's own content network. The file travels from TeraBox to the person downloading it and never passes through our servers. We keep no copy of anything.
This matters for takedowns. Because we store nothing, we cannot delete a file. Removing content at the source requires a request to TeraBox, who host it. What we can do is block a specific share from being opened through TeraSaver.
What we can act on
- Blocking a specific TeraBox share link so it can no longer be opened through this site.
- Blocking a set of links belonging to the same rights holder.
What we cannot do
- Delete the file. It sits on TeraBox's infrastructure, not ours.
- Identify who shared it. We do not require accounts and we do not store the links people paste.
- Prevent the same file being reshared under a new link. A new share produces a new address.
Sending a notice
Email our contact address with:
- Your name, organisation, and how to reach you.
- The specific share link or links. A general description is not enough for us to act.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- A statement that you hold the rights, or are authorised to act for whoever does.
- A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
We aim to respond within five working days. Notices that identify specific links are acted on fastest, because they are the only ones we can act on precisely.
If you think a block was wrong
Tell us, with the link and why you believe you are entitled to share it. We would rather correct an over-broad block than leave it standing.
