From the TeraBox app or website, tap Share and copy the link. It works whether the link carries its code as a path after /s/ or as a surl query parameter — both formats are read the same way.
The link is checked in your browser before anything is sent. If the host is not a TeraBox domain, or the share code is missing, you are told immediately rather than after a failed request.
You get the real file list: names, types, sizes, and video durations, with thumbnails where TeraBox exposes them. A four gigabyte file that turns out to be something other than what was promised is worth discovering before you spend the data, not after.
Pick a file. Your browser is handed the final address on TeraBox’s own content network and the transfer starts from there. The file name arrives from the source, so it stays exactly as the sender named it.
TeraBox is general storage, so a share can hold anything. A TeraBox file downloader is only useful if it does not care what is inside — and this one does not read, convert, or re-encode anything. It hands your browser the original file, byte for byte, as it was uploaded.

ZIP opens on Windows and macOS with nothing installed. RAR and 7z need a tool such as 7-Zip. On Android, no archive format unpacks on its own — an extraction app is required either way, which is worth knowing before you download a large archive to a phone.
MKV is the format that trips people up. iOS has no built-in MKV playback and the Photos app will not accept the file at all; it plays once opened in a third-party player such as VLC. On desktop, VLC handles MKV, AVI and FLV without converting anything. On Android it depends on the player app rather than the system.

Two limits are worth knowing before you start on a phone. On iOS, the whole file downloads before it can be opened, so you need free space matching the file size — not enough space eventually, enough space up front. Safari also handles one download per tap, so a folder of forty videos is forty taps; on a large folder a desktop is genuinely the faster tool.
On Android, downloaded videos appear in your gallery once the system media scan picks them up. If a file is missing from the gallery right after downloading, it is usually sitting in the Download folder and simply has not been indexed yet. Nothing is lost, and nothing needs downloading again.
People search for a TeraBox APK downloader for two completely different reasons, and mixing them up is how someone ends up installing what they did not want.
If you mean an APK file stored inside a TeraBox share — a game, a build, an app someone sent you — that is exactly what this tool does. APK, XAPK and OBB files come down like any other file. A TeraBox mod APK is an unofficial, repackaged copy of the Android app, distributed outside the official stores, usually advertising removed ads or lifted limits.
Here is the part the download pages never mention. To modify an Android app, the original developer signature has to be stripped and replaced with the modder's own. That signature is the only thing proving an app is what it claims to be. Once it is gone, nothing distinguishes a build that merely removes ads from one that also ships a credential logger — and you are being asked to type your TeraBox password into it.
So we do not host, link to, or explain how to obtain modified builds. The same TeraBox share can arrive under eight different hostnames depending on how and where it was created. They are not cosmetic aliases — the link shape differs, and a downloader built for only one of them will simply reject the rest.

Two details cause most of the invalid-link complaints we see. Share codes are frequently written with a leading digit that is not part of the code itself — paste the whole URL rather than extracting the code by hand, and this stops being your problem.
A link forwarded through a messenger often arrives wrapped in tracking parameters, or cut short by a link preview. Paste the full link: everything after the code is ignored, but everything before it matters.If you are not sure which part is the code, link formats explained takes each shape apart.
The tool is identical everywhere. What differs is what your operating system does with the file after it lands, and that is where people actually get stuck.
Files land in the Downloads folder unless your browser is set to ask each time. You can pause and resume from the downloads page, and run several transfers at once, which makes desktop the right choice for large folders. A resolved address can also be handed to a download manager, which then handles retries and segmentation itself.
Downloading on PCChrome saves to the Download folder, reachable through the Files or My Files app. A notification shows progress and opens the file when it completes, and an interrupted download can be resumed from the downloads list. Videos and photos appear in the gallery once the system media scan picks them up.
Downloading on AndroidSafari saves downloads to Files, under On My iPhone then Downloads, and a download arrow appears in the address bar. Safari cannot resume a download that was interrupted, and iOS fetches the whole file before it can be opened — so your free space has to match the file size up front. MP4 and MOV move into Photos with Share then Save Video.
Downloading on iPhoneBehaves like desktop Chrome. Files arrive in the Downloads folder inside the Files app, and the same pause and resume controls are available.
Downloading on ChromebookNo download, but a stream will play in the built-in browser on sets that have one. This is the case where watching rather than keeping is the whole point.
Watching on a smart TVThe resolved address works with wget and curl, which is the right approach for a server with no browser, or for a transfer you want to script rather than supervise.

The file never touches our servers. When you press Download, the share is resolved to its final address on TeraBox's own content network, and that address is handed to your browser. Your device then talks to the source directly. We are not a relay, which is why the speed you get is the speed of the source rather than the speed of our infrastructure — and why we could not hold a copy of your file even if we wanted to.
You never enter TeraBox credentials. The file list for a public share is readable without signing in. There is no login form on this site because there is nothing to log into. That also means we cannot open a private share, and we cannot open a password-protected one — nothing can, without the password its owner set.
The file name comes from the source, carried in the Content-Disposition header, so it arrives named the way the sender named it rather than rewritten by us.
When something fails, the error is the source's, not a guess. A 403 means the share itself is refusing access, not that the link was typed wrongly. A 429 is a rate limit and clears on its own after a short wait. A 504 means the source did not answer in time, which is unrelated to the speed of your own connection.
