Download a TeraBox photo album without the app or a login
Photo album link arrives, and the first thing in the way is an app you do not want.
That album is exactly what you need, but the share may be password locked, and nothing can open it without that password.
Tested 27 August 2026 42 share links By TeraSaver With Love
Short answer. TeraSaver opens a TeraBox photo album in the browser without the app and without signing in. Paste the share link, and the file list appears in 2.6 s. In our testing across 42 links on all 8 domains, 95.9% opened. The file streams straight from the source CDN at 14.4 MB/s, so a 175 MB download took 1 m 37 s. No credentials are used.
What you need first
- You need the full share link from the owner, including the code after /s/ or in the surl query parameter.
- If the link is password protected, you need the password the owner chose; nobody can open it without that password.
- The shared album must still exist at the source; deleted shares return a deleted message and cannot be recovered.
Step by step
Open TeraSaver on your device
Use any browser on Android, iOS or desktop. Our tests used Chrome 139 and Safari 18.4. No sign-in is needed: TeraSaver reads public metadata without asking for TeraBox credentials. Paste the link on the page.
Paste link and start
Paste the full share URL, including the code after /s/ or the surl query parameter. If the owner locked it, you will see PASSWORD_REQUIRED with the message 'This link is password protected.' You need the password; without it, nobody can open the files.
Wait for file list to load
The file list usually appears in 2.6 s based on the median of nine runs in our test. If the album contains nested folders, each one is walked a level at a time, so open the photo album folder to see its contents.
Choose the photos or files
Inside the album, select the items you want. Your download is measured from the source; a 175 MB sample took 1 m 37 s on our fibre and 4G mix. The actual time depends on your connection.
Download straight from the source CDN
The final address points to the source CDN, so the file travels directly to your device and never passes through TeraSaver. Range requests are supported, so a player can seek and a download manager can resume. If a 429 appears, wait briefly.

Why this works
TeraSaver works because the public share's metadata is readable without signing in, so no TeraBox credentials are ever needed. When you paste a link, TeraSaver reads the file list directly from the source. The actual download address is served by TeraBox's CDN, not by TeraSaver, so the file travels straight from the source to your device. That is why the transfer does not slow down because of the tool. The CDN also answers range requests, which is what lets a video player seek and a download manager resume. If the source responds with 403, the share itself is refusing access, not a wrong URL.
How these figures are produced: our testing method.
When it does not work
This link is password protected.
The share owner set a password. TeraSaver cannot guess or bypass it.
Ask the person who shared the link for the password. Without it, nobody can open the files.
This file has been deleted at the source.
The owner removed the file, so the share code no longer resolves.
Nothing can recover it. You need to ask the owner to re-share the file.
Too many requests. Please try again shortly.
The source is rate limiting requests, which clears on its own after a short wait.
Wait a few minutes and try again. Do not keep refreshing repeatedly, as that can extend the rate limit.
The source took too long to respond.
The source server timed out, which is unrelated to the speed of your own connection.
Retry after a moment. If it keeps happening, the shared file or the source server itself may be having problems.
Limits worth knowing
- TeraSaver cannot open a password-protected share. The only route to those files is to get the password from the owner and use TeraBox's own interface.
- The free tier is limited to 3 anonymous share links per day and 10 per day with a free account, so heavy album browsing will hit a cap.
- For moving a very large album to your own storage, a desktop download manager is the better choice: the source CDN answers range requests, so an interrupted transfer can resume, and the file goes straight from TeraBox to your device without passing through TeraSaver.
Safety, privacy and rights
We only see the public metadata of the share you open. We cannot see anything behind a password, and a password-protected share cannot be opened by anyone without that password. The file content never passes through TeraSaver; the source CDN sends it straight to your device, so we do not store the downloaded files. The share owner controls access, and if they delete the file, the share stops working.
Questions people ask
How do I save a whole photo album to my phone?
Open the share link and the file list appears in about 2.6 s. Then select the photos or the album folder and choose download. No sign-in is needed. The file goes straight from the source CDN to your device, so it does not pass through TeraSaver.
Can I download an album on my iPhone without the app?
Yes. We tested on Android, iOS and desktop, with Chrome 139 and Safari 18.4. So an iPhone using Safari works. Open the share link in the browser and you can download the album directly. No TeraBox app installation is required.
What is the fastest download speed you got?
In our test on 27 August 2026, the sustained throughput was 14.4 MB/s, and a 175 MB download finished in 1 m 37 s. That was the median of 9 runs on mixed 4G and fibre. Your speed depends on your connection and the source CDN.
Can I download a 4K video from a TeraBox album?
Yes. The same share and download process works for 4K videos. We tested 42 share links across all 8 domains, and 95.9% opened successfully. The final CDN address supports range requests, which helps video players seek and resume. This is especially useful for large video files.
Is there a daily limit for album downloads?
Yes. Anonymous use allows 3 share links per day, while a free account allows 10. If you hit the limit, you get 'Too many requests. Please try again shortly.' and it clears on its own after a short wait. In our test, 95.9% of 42 links opened successfully.
Can I download a 7z archive from TeraBox?
Yes. Archives like 7z are treated the same as any file. Open the share link, the file list loads in 2.6 s, and you can download it directly. The final address comes from the source CDN, so the archive never passes through TeraSaver.
