How to download TeraBox videos on Android without the app

On Android, you have a TeraBox link and a video you want to watch without installing another app.

The usual path pushes you to install the app, sign in, and wait through prompts. On a phone that means extra storage, mobile data usage, and a download that can stall before it finishes.

Works with terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, and 5 more domains.

Tested 26 July 2026 138 share links By TeraSaver With Love

Short answer. TeraSaver reads a TeraBox share link in your browser and shows the files inside, no app install or sign-in needed. On Android 15 with Chrome 139, the file list appeared in 2.9 s, and a 350 MB video downloaded in 2 m 53 s at 16.2 MB/s. 93.3% of 138 links opened. The file arrives straight from TeraBox's CDN, supports resume, and lands in the Download folder where the gallery picks it up.

What you need first

  • A working TeraBox share link. If the owner deleted the file, the share stops working and cannot be recovered.
  • An Android phone with a browser such as Chrome. Tests used a Pixel 8a on Android 15.
  • A stable internet connection. The test ran on 4G at 26 Mbps down.
  • The share password, if the link is locked. No tool can open it without that password.

Step by step

  1. Open TeraSaver

On your Android device open a browser like Chrome and go to TeraSaver. No app install or sign-in required. The interface works in the browser itself, so you are ready once the page loads.

  2. Paste your TeraBox link

Copy the share link from the message or page. TeraSaver accepts all eight TeraBox domains, including terabox.com and terabox.app. Paste it into the input on TeraSaver. The share code is embedded in the link, so no extra details are needed.

  3. Wait for file list

TeraSaver reads the public share metadata without signing in. In our test on a Pixel 8a the file list appeared in a median of 2.9 seconds. If the link is password protected, you will see a prompt because the password is required. If deleted, you get an error.

  4. Select the video

The list shows files and folders. Tap the video you want. If the share contains nested folders, TeraSaver walks one level at a time. For MKV or AVI, remember Android may need a third-party player because the system cannot play every format.

  5. Start the download

Tap the download button for that video. TeraSaver hands you a direct CDN address, so the file travels straight from TeraBox to your phone. A 350 MB video took a median of 2 minutes 53 seconds on our 4G connection, sustained at 16.2 MB/s. Chrome shows progress in a notification and can resume if the connection drops.

  6. Locate the file

Chrome saves the download to the Download folder, which you can open in Files or My Files. The download notification opens the file when complete. Videos and photos appear in the gallery after the system media scan picks them up. If you downloaded an APK, you may need to allow unknown sources.

  • Paste the link

  • File list

  • After download

Why this works

A TeraBox share is a public file address. Its metadata can be read without signing in, so TeraSaver can list the contents of a share without you ever entering TeraBox credentials. When you pick a file, the final download address is served by the source CDN, meaning the file travels straight from TeraBox to your phone and never passes through TeraSaver. That CDN answers range requests, which is why Chrome can resume an interrupted download from the downloads list and why a player can seek. On Android, Chrome saves the finished file to the shared Download folder, and once the system media scan picks it up, videos and photos appear in the gallery. For normal MP4 files, no extra app is needed. MKV and AVI playback depends on the player app, and ZIP or RAR archives need an extraction app.

How these figures are produced: our testing method.

When it does not work

This link is password protected.

The share owner set a password (error code PASSWORD_REQUIRED, HTTP 401). This is not a mistake in the link; access is controlled at the source.

Only the owner's password can open it. No tool, including this page, can bypass the password, so ask the owner for the password or for a different link.

This file has been deleted at the source.

The owner removed the file, so the share no longer exists (error code SHARE_DELETED, HTTP 410).

There is nothing to recover. Ask the owner to re-upload the file or share it again.

Too many requests. Please try again shortly.

The source is rate-limiting requests (error code RATE_LIMITED, HTTP 429). It clears on its own after a short wait.

Wait a short while, then reload the page or try the link again.

The source took too long to respond.

The source server did not answer in time (error code UPSTREAM_TIMEOUT, HTTP 504). This is unrelated to the speed of your own connection.

Wait a moment and retry. This error is retryable and usually passes.

The download stops partway through and the notification shows it as paused or failed.

A network drop or a pause on the device interrupted the transfer.

Open the Chrome downloads list, find the file, and tap resume. Chrome on Android can resume an interrupted download from that list.

Limits worth knowing

  • This page is limited to 3 share links per day without an account and 10 per day with a free account.
  • Files are not hosted by TeraSaver: the final download address is served by the source CDN, so the speed you get depends on that CDN and your connection. In tests on a 4G connection with 26 Mbps down, the sustained throughput was 16.2 MB/s, but that is a measurement, not a guarantee.
  • A password-protected or deleted share cannot be opened by this page or by any other tool; you need the owner's password or a fresh upload.
  • For MKV or AVI files, the file downloads fine, but Android's native player may not open it. You will need a separate player app that supports those formats, which is the better tool for playback.

Safety, privacy and rights

We can see the file list of a public share and the file name sent by the source. We cannot see or store the file itself, because it goes directly from TeraBox's CDN to your device. We cannot open a password-protected share; if it is locked, nobody can open it without the password. We cannot recover files the owner deleted. The responsibility for a file stays with the person who shared it. You are downloading what a link points to, and the tool simply connects you to the source.

Questions people ask

Where do downloaded videos go on my phone?

Downloaded videos land in the Download folder, reachable through the Files or My Files app. Chrome shows a notification with progress, and tapping it opens the file when complete. Once the system media scan picks it up, the video also shows in your gallery.

Can I watch a video without downloading it first?

Yes, you can play it directly in a player. The final CDN address answers range requests, which is what lets a player seek. That means you do not have to wait for a full download to start watching. We measured the file list appearing in 2.9 s on a Pixel 8a with Chrome 139.

Can I pause and resume a download if the connection drops?

Yes. Chrome on Android can resume an interrupted download from the downloads list. So if the notification shows it as paused or failed, you can tap it there to continue. This relies on the source CDN answering range requests, which TeraBox links do.

Will the video appear in my gallery app?

Videos and photos in the Download folder appear in the gallery once the system media scan picks them up. That can take a moment after the download completes. If the gallery does not show it immediately, opening the Files app and locating the file often helps.

Do I need the TeraBox app or an account to download?

No. Public share metadata is readable without signing in, so you never enter TeraBox credentials. The file travels straight from the source CDN to your device. We tested 138 share links across all 8 domains and 93.3% opened directly in the browser.

Can I download an APK file from a TeraBox link on Android?

Yes. The browser supports APK downloads. Installing it requires allowing install from unknown sources for the browser doing the download. After the APK finishes, tap the notification and follow the system prompt to enable that permission for Chrome.
