What you need first
- Use a desktop browser on Windows or macOS. Our test ran on Windows 11 with Chrome 139, but the steps below rely on standard browser behaviour.
- Have the complete share link, including the code after /s/ or the surl parameter. The same share can appear under any of eight TeraBox hostnames, all handled the same way.
- No TeraBox account is needed. File metadata for a public share is readable without signing in, so you should never enter TeraBox credentials.
- Know that a locked or deleted share cannot be recovered. Password-protected shares only open with the owner's password; deleted shares stop working and no tool can bring them back.

Handle access errors honestly
