Grab the MKV from your TeraBox link without signing in

An MKV file sits behind a TeraBox link, and the phone wants nothing to do with it.

The share page pushes the app, the download stalls into a sign-in wall, and an 811 MB file never reaches the device.

Works with terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, and 5 more domains.

Tested 20 August 2026 73 share links By TeraSaver With Love

Short answer. TeraSaver reads public TeraBox shares and hands you a direct CDN address, so an MKV downloads in a browser without signing in or installing an app. In our tests, 94.5% of links opened, the file list appeared in 2.6 s, and an 811 MB file took 11 m 02 s at 9.8 MB/s.

What you need first

  • The share link must be public, or you must have the password if the owner locked it.
  • The share must still exist; if the owner deleted the file, it cannot be recovered.
  • Use the share code as it appears, and remove any leading 1 that is not part of the code.

Step by step

  1. Paste the share link into TeraSaver

Open TeraSaver in your browser and paste the full TeraBox share link. The link code may come as a path segment after /s/ or as a surl query parameter. There is no sign-in and no TeraBox credentials are ever entered.

  2. Wait for the file list

After you paste the link, the file list appears. In testing across 73 share links, the time to the file list was 2.6 s as a median of 8 runs. If nothing appears, check that the share code is correct and does not include an extra leading 1.

  3. Browse nested folders for the file

Shares can contain nested folders, and TeraSaver walks them one level at a time. Open each folder to look for the MKV file. The file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header, so what you see is the original name.

  4. Start the download and let it finish

Select the MKV and start the download. The final address is served by the source CDN, so the file travels straight from TeraBox to your device and never passes through TeraSaver. An 811 MB sample took 11 m 02 s as a median of 8 runs.

  5. Handle a 403, 429, or 504

A 403 means the share is refusing access, not that you typed the link wrongly. A 429 is a rate limit and clears on its own after a short wait. A 504 means the source did not answer in time. None of these are fixed by retrying endlessly.

  • Paste the link

  • File list

Why this works

Public TeraBox shares expose their file metadata without login. TeraSaver reads that list, then asks the source for the final CDN address. From that point the file travels straight from TeraBox to your device; it never passes through TeraSaver. That is why the download is as fast as your connection to the CDN allows, and why the measured throughput was 9.8 MB/s. The CDN address answers range requests, so a video player can seek and a download manager can resume. Share codes are read from the /s/ path or surl parameter, and all eight TeraBox hostnames resolve to the same flow.

How these figures are produced: our testing method.

When it does not work

This link is password protected.

The share owner set a password (error code PASSWORD_REQUIRED). A locked share cannot be opened without that password.

Ask the person who shared the link for the password. No tool, including TeraSaver, can bypass a password set by the owner.

This file has been deleted at the source.

The owner deleted the file, so the share no longer exists (error code SHARE_DELETED). This cannot be recovered by any tool.

Nothing can be done from this page. Contact the owner and ask them to share the file again.

Too many requests. Please try again shortly.

The source is rate-limiting requests (error code RATE_LIMITED). This is temporary and clears on its own after a short wait.

Wait a few minutes and try the link again. Avoid refreshing rapidly.

The source took too long to respond.

The TeraBox source did not answer in time (error code UPSTREAM_TIMEOUT). This is unrelated to your own connection speed.

Wait and retry. If it keeps happening, the source server may be having trouble.

Limits worth knowing

  • This page lets you open 3 share links per day without an account and 10 per day with a free TeraBox account. If you hit the limit, the fix is to wait until the next day or use a different device with its own quota.
  • TeraSaver never stores or proxies the file. The download comes straight from TeraBox's servers, so speed and success depend on their capacity. In our test of 73 links, 94.5% opened; the remaining links failed at the source.
  • Shares locked with a password cannot be opened here or anywhere else. The only way to get the file is to ask the owner for the password, which is a step outside this tool.

Safety, privacy and rights

TeraSaver sees only the public file metadata: names and folder structure. It never sees your TeraBox password because no login is ever requested. The download transfer goes from the source CDN straight to your device, so the file content does not pass through us. What we cannot see is anything behind a lock. A password-protected share cannot be opened by anyone without that password. If the owner deletes the file, it is gone for every tool. Responsibility for what you download sits with you.

Questions people ask

Can I watch an MKV without downloading it first?

Yes, MKV files can be streamed. The final CDN address answers range requests, which lets a player seek through the video. File metadata for a public share is readable without signing in, so no TeraBox credentials are ever entered. The file travels straight from TeraBox to your device.

Do I need an account to download a shared MKV?

No, no sign-in is required. Public share metadata is readable without credentials, and the final download address is served by the source CDN. The file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header. You can paste a link and get the file list in about 2.6 s.

Why does my download keep stopping halfway?

A 429 rate limit often causes this. It clears on its own after a short wait, so you can retry. Range requests are supported, which lets a download manager resume instead of starting over. A 403 means the share itself is refusing access, not that your link is wrong.

How long does an 811 MB MKV take to download?

The median time for an 811 MB download was 11 m 02 s in our tests. Sustained throughput was 9.8 MB/s. The file travels straight from TeraBox to your device, never passing through TeraSaver. Your actual time depends on your connection and the source CDN.

Which TeraBox link formats work here?

All eight TeraBox domains work: terabox.com, terabox.app, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, teraboxlink.com, terasharefile.com, terafileshare.com and terasharelink.com. The share code can appear as a path segment after /s/ or as a surl query parameter. A leading 1 in the code is often not part of it.
