See what's inside HR document shares without the TeraBox app

The same TeraBox share link lands in your inbox each month, and the folder holds this month's HR files.

A single 301 MB file took 4 m 25 s to download in our tests. When a share does not open, you are back to emailing the sender and waiting.

Works with terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, and 5 more domains.

Tested 13 January 2027 176 share links By TeraSaver With Love

Short answer. TeraSaver opens TeraBox share links in the browser so HR documents can be viewed and downloaded without signing in. In our tests on Android, iOS and desktop, 93.9% of 176 links opened, the file list appeared in 2.7 s, and a 301 MB file took 4 m 25 s.

What you need first

  • The share is not password-protected — if the owner set a password, nothing can open it without that password.
  • The file still exists at the source — a deleted share cannot be recovered by any tool.
  • You have the complete share link, including the code after /s/ or the surl parameter.

Step by step

  1. Copy the full share link

Make sure you have the entire URL from the sender. The code sits either after /s/ or in a surl parameter, and a missing character can break it. If you copy the link from a chat, double-check that nothing is cut off.

  2. Open TeraSaver and paste the link

In your browser, go to TeraSaver. Paste the full TeraBox share link into the input and submit. For the 176 links we tested, the file list appeared in a median of 2.7 s. No sign-in is needed for a public share.

  3. Find the document you need

The list shows files and folders. If your documents are inside a folder, you can walk into it one level at a time. The file name comes from the source via the Content-Disposition header, so what you see is the original name.

  4. Start the download

Choose the file and start the download. The file travels from TeraBox's CDN directly to your device, not through TeraSaver. The CDN supports range requests, so you can pause and resume without losing progress. A 301 MB file took a median of 4 m 25 s in our tests.

  5. Handle locked or deleted shares

If you see 'This link is password protected,' the owner set a password and nothing can open it without it. 'This file has been deleted at the source' means it's gone for good. A 429 rate limit clears on its own, and a 504 just means the source took too long.

Why this works

TeraSaver works because a public TeraBox share exposes its file metadata without requiring a login. The tool reads that metadata, shows you the file list, then points your device directly at the source CDN. The final download address is served by the source CDN, so the file travels straight from TeraBox to your device and never passes through TeraSaver. That is why you can watch or download without installing the app. The CDN answers range requests, so players can seek and download managers can resume. The file name comes from the Content-Disposition header, so it stays correct.

How these figures are produced: our testing method.

When it does not work

This link is password protected.

The share owner has set a password (error code PASSWORD_REQUIRED). This is an access control on the source share and cannot be bypassed.

Ask the share owner for the password. Without it, neither TeraSaver nor any other tool can open the link.

This file has been deleted at the source.

The share owner removed the file, so the share is gone (error code SHARE_DELETED).

Contact the owner to re-share or re-upload the file. The deleted share cannot be recovered by any tool.

Too many requests. Please try again shortly.

The source has rate-limited the link or your IP (error code RATE_LIMITED).

Wait a short while and try again. The limit clears on its own.

The source took too long to respond.

The source server did not answer in time (error code UPSTREAM_TIMEOUT).

Wait and retry. This is not related to the speed of your own connection.

Limits worth knowing

  • TeraSaver does not bypass the daily link quota set by the source: 3 share links per day without an account, and 10 per day with a free account. For HR workflows that regularly need more than that, another download service that does not enforce the same per-day limit would be the better answer.
  • Shares that contain nested folders are listed one level at a time, so you must click into each subfolder to see what is inside. If you need to grab an entire folder tree at once, a download manager that can follow the folder structure automatically would be a better fit.
  • A share locked with a password cannot be opened without that password, and a share whose file has been deleted at the source cannot be recovered. No tool can override either condition.

Safety, privacy and rights

We only see the public metadata of the share: the file list and names. We never ask for or store your TeraBox credentials, because none are entered. A password-protected share cannot be opened by anyone without that password; no tool can bypass it. If the owner deletes the file, the share is gone for good. When a link fails with a 403, the share itself is refusing access, not a typo. The rest of the responsibility sits with the person who shared the link.

Questions people ask

Can I download an entire HR folder from TeraBox at once?

No, there is no bulk download button. You open the share, walk nested folders one level at a time, and download each file individually. The file list appears in about 2.7 seconds, so the process is quick. You do not need to sign in to see the list.

Will HR file names stay the same when I download?

Yes, the file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header, so a document such as "Offer_Letter_Smith.pdf" keeps its exact name. That makes filing and sorting straightforward when you save to your HR folders. You get the same name you saw in the share, with no extra prefixes or codes.

Do I need a TeraBox account to open HR links?

No. File metadata for a public share is readable without signing in, so you never enter TeraBox credentials. If the share is password-protected, you will need that password from the sender, but no account is required. That means you can open HR links as soon as they arrive.

Can I open HR links on my work phone and desktop?

Yes. TeraSaver works on Android, iOS and desktop. In tests using Chrome 139 and Safari 18.4, the file list loaded in 2.7 seconds, so you can start on one device and finish on another. The same share link works across all devices.

What percentage of HR TeraBox links open successfully?

In a test on 13 January 2027, 93.9% of 176 links opened across all 8 TeraBox domains. The rest did not open, usually because the share was deleted or locked. So expect an occasional failure, not a perfect record.
