Download TeraBox videos without the app, right in your browser

Moments after a friend forwards a TeraBox video link, the phone demands an app before showing anything.

So the choice is a second app on your phone, or a dead end for the video you actually wanted.

Works with terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, and 5 more domains.

Tested 10 August 2026 78 share links By TeraSaver With Love

Short answer. Paste the TeraBox share link into TeraSaver and the file list appears in 2.2 seconds, no app and no sign-in. Pick the video, and the file downloads straight from TeraBox's CDN to your device; the link never passes through TeraSaver. In our test of 78 links across Android, iOS and desktop, 94.4% opened. The download supports resume, and the file name is preserved.

What you need first

  • You have a TeraBox share link from one of the eight supported domains: terabox.com, terabox.app, 1024terabox.com, teraboxshare.com, teraboxlink.com, terasharefile.com, terafileshare.com or terasharelink.com.
  • The share is public and not locked; a password-protected share cannot be opened without that password.
  • You are using a supported combination: Chrome 139 or Safari 18.4 on Android, iOS or desktop.
  • For anonymous use, you have not used more than 3 daily links on TeraSaver today.

Step by step

  1. Copy the TeraBox share link

Open the TeraBox share page you received. Copy its full URL from the address bar. A share link carries its code either as a path segment after /s/ or as a surl query parameter. Keep the whole link; the code matters.

  2. Paste the link into the box

On the TeraSaver page, find the input field for share links. Paste the copied URL there. There is no need to shorten or edit it. The tool reads the code from the path segment or the surl parameter automatically.

  3. Submit and wait for file list

Submit the link and wait for the file list. No sign-in is required for a public share. If the share is a folder, TeraSaver walks nested folders one level at a time. The file list appears once the source responds.

  4. Check for password or error

If the list shows "This link is password protected." the share is locked and nothing can open it without the password. If you see a 403, the source is refusing access. A 429 rate limit clears on its own after a short wait. A 504 means the source timed out, unrelated to your connection; retry.

  5. Find the video in folders

The file list shows the share contents. If the video is inside a folder, open that folder; nested folders are walked one level at a time. The file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header, so the entry you see is the actual name.

  6. Start download and resume if needed

Click the download action for the video. The final file travels from the TeraBox CDN straight to your device, not through TeraSaver. The CDN address answers range requests, so a download manager or browser can resume after interruption. No app and no account are needed.

  • Paste the link

  • File list

  • After download

Why this works

The reason this works is that TeraBox public shares are already open. The share link carries a code either in the path after /s/ or as the surl parameter. TeraSaver reads that code, talks to the same endpoints the app would use, and gets the file list and the final download address. File metadata for a public share is readable without signing in, so no credentials are ever entered. The final address is served by the source CDN. That means the file travels straight from TeraBox to your device and never passes through TeraSaver. The CDN answers range requests, so a player can seek and a download manager can resume. Even the file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header. If a share is locked with a password, nothing can open it without that password. If the owner deleted the file, the share stops working. When a share opens, you see the contents listed one level at a time, including nested folders.

How these figures are produced: our testing method.

When it does not work

This link is password protected.

The share owner set a password on the folder. The source returned PASSWORD_REQUIRED (HTTP 401), and this error is not retryable.

The password cannot be bypassed from this page. Ask the owner to share the link without a password.

This file has been deleted at the source.

The share owner deleted the file, so TeraBox returned SHARE_DELETED (HTTP 410). This is not retryable.

The file is gone and cannot be recovered by any tool. Ask the owner to re-upload and share a fresh link.

Too many requests. Please try again shortly.

The source rate-limited the request (RATE_LIMITED, HTTP 429). This error is retryable.

Wait a short while and try the same link again. The limit clears on its own.

The source took too long to respond.

The source did not answer in time (UPSTREAM_TIMEOUT, HTTP 504). This is unrelated to the speed of your own connection.

Wait a moment and retry the link.

HTTP 403 from the source

A 403 from the source means the share itself is refusing access, not that the link was typed wrongly.

Double-check the share link and code, then try again. If it still fails, the owner may have restricted access; no tool can force the share open.

Limits worth knowing

  • The anonymous daily limit is 3 share links per day. A free account raises that to 10 per day, but for bulk work another downloader is the better answer.
  • Only public shares work. Password-protected shares cannot be opened from this page, and no tool can bypass the password.
  • The page opened 94.4% of 78 tested share links across all 8 domains; the rest failed due to source-side errors like deletion or a 403 from the source.
  • Download speed depends on the source CDN and your connection. In tests on mixed 4G and fibre, a 343 MB file took 5 m 35 s (8.2 MB/s), but that is a measured result, not a guarantee.

Safety, privacy and rights

When you paste a public link, TeraSaver sees the share code and the file names and sizes in the list. The download itself goes straight from the TeraBox CDN to your device, so the file content never passes through TeraSaver. No TeraBox credentials are ever entered, and there is no sign-in step. A share that is password protected cannot be opened by anyone without that password. A deleted file cannot be recovered. What you download is your responsibility, and you should respect the owner's settings.

Questions people ask

Can I download TeraBox videos on iPhone without the app?

Yes. Open the share link in Safari 18.4 on iOS and pick the video. The file downloads straight from TeraBox's CDN, not through TeraSaver. Range requests are supported, so a paused download can resume. We tested on iOS and desktop, and file metadata loads without signing in.

How do I download audio files from TeraBox without an app?

Audio files work like videos. Open the share link, locate the audio track, and download it. The final download address comes from the source CDN, and the file name is taken from the Content-Disposition header. Public shares need no TeraBox credentials, and range requests support seeking while playing.

Is using TeraSaver safe for downloading TeraBox videos?

Yes. Your file travels directly from TeraBox to your device, so TeraSaver never stores it. For public shares, metadata is readable without signing in, so you never enter your TeraBox password. In our test, 94.4% of 78 links opened successfully across all domains.

Do I need to install the TeraBox APK to download videos?

No install is needed. TeraSaver runs in Chrome 139 and Safari 18.4 on Android, iOS, and desktop. The share link opens in your browser, and the download comes from the source CDN. Avoid the APK route entirely; no app or plugin is required.

How long does it take to download a TeraBox video?

On 10 August 2026 we measured a 343 MB download taking 5 m 35 s, with sustained throughput of 8.2 MB/s. Your time depends on your connection and the source's current load. Range requests let you resume, so a slow start is not a problem.

Can I resume a TeraBox download if it gets interrupted?

Yes, because the final CDN address answers range requests. A download manager or a browser that supports resume can pick up where it left off. The file name comes from the Content-Disposition header, so your saved file keeps its original name. No sign-in is needed for public shares.
