Step by step
Check the share link format
A valid TeraBox share link carries its code either as a path segment after /s/ or as a surl query parameter. Some codes are written with a leading 1 that is not part of the code itself. If the code looks off, ask the owner to re-send the exact link.
Make sure you are using TeraSaver
File metadata for a public share is readable without signing in, so TeraSaver never asks for TeraBox credentials. If you see a login page, close it and paste the share link into TeraSaver's input field instead of opening it in your browser. No TeraBox account is needed.
Check if the share is password-protected
A share can be locked with a password set by its owner. If it is, you will see the error 'This link is password protected.' There is no way to open the share without that password. Contact the owner and ask for it, then try again with the password.
Check if the file was deleted
If the owner deletes the file, the share stops working and cannot be recovered by any tool. The error will read 'This file has been deleted at the source.' Ask the owner to upload the file again and create a new share link, because the old one is permanently dead.
Wait and retry for rate limit or timeout
When you see 'Too many requests' (HTTP 429), the source is limiting you and it clears on its own after a short wait. A 504 'The source took too long to respond' means the source did not answer in time, unrelated to your connection speed. Either way, wait a few seconds and retry.
Check if the source refused access
A 403 from the source means the share itself is refusing access, not that the link was typed wrongly. The share may be blocked or restricted by the owner. TeraSaver cannot bypass that. Confirm the share is still valid and accessible.

Why this works
When you paste a TeraBox share link, TeraSaver reads the share code and asks TeraBox's servers for the file metadata. For a public share, that metadata is readable without signing in, so the file list appears without a login prompt. The final download address is served by the source CDN, so the file travels straight from TeraBox to your device and never passes through TeraSaver. That direct path is why no account is needed on our side. The source CDN also answers range requests, which is what lets a video player seek and a download manager resume. The file name comes from the source through the Content-Disposition header, so what you download is exactly what the owner uploaded. Credentials are never entered anywhere in the flow.

403 Forbidden
The source refused access to the share (CONTENT_BLOCKED), not a typo in the link.

Limits worth knowing

Safety, privacy and rights
TeraSaver only sees the file list that the share owner made public. It never sees your TeraBox credentials, because none are ever entered. We do not sign in as you, and because the file never passes through TeraSaver, we never hold a copy of it. A password-protected share cannot be opened by anyone without the password, and that includes us. When a share is deleted, nothing can recover it. Downloading happens directly between your device and the source CDN, so the legitimacy of the file rests with the person who shared it and with you.
